SensitivityMatch

Privacy policy

How SensitivityMatch handles your data. Last updated October 8, 2026.

The short version

The sensitivity, DPI and game you enter stay in your browser. There are no accounts, and no form on this site collects personal details. The sections below explain the few things that are recorded, including any analytics or advertising the site uses.

Who runs this site

SensitivityMatch (sensitivitymatch.com) is an independent project. For anything about privacy, write to hello@sensitivitymatch.com.

What the tools do with your numbers

The sensitivity, DPI and game you enter are used only in your browser to work out the results. They are not sent to a server and are not stored. The page address changes as you type so you can share a result: if you copy it or press Share, the numbers are part of the address, so anyone you give it to will see them.

What the server records

Like any website, the hosting company keeps access logs with your IP address, the page you opened, the time and your browser type. They are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept by the host for its own retention period.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, which counts visits and sets cookies to tell visitors apart. They load as soon as a page opens. Google Analytics is switched off for browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

You can stop Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Your choices and rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with similar laws, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to how it is used. Because the tools do not store what you type, there is usually nothing of yours on our side beyond server logs and any analytics data.

Write to hello@sensitivitymatch.com and we will answer. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

You can limit tracking yourself: browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are respected by Google Analytics here, you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and where the cookie message is shown, “Cookie settings” in the footer changes your choice.

Children

The site is meant for a general audience of gamers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when something changes, for example when a new analytics or advertising service is switched on. The date under the title shows the latest version.
