eDPI calculator

Your in-game sensitivity times your mouse DPI, in one number, with the turn distance behind it.

What eDPI tells you

eDPI is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity: eDPI = DPI × sensitivity. It folds two settings into one number, so two players with different DPI can compare how fast their aim is in the same game.

It only works inside one game. The same turn distance is a CS2 sensitivity of 1 at 800 DPI (eDPI 800) and a Valorant sensitivity of 0.314 at 800 DPI (eDPI 251). The eDPI differs by a factor of 3.18 even though the aim is identical.

For anything across games, use cm/360, the distance your mouse travels for a full turn, or the converter to see the same aim in another game. New to the term? Read what eDPI is and how to calculate it. Not sure of your DPI? Measure it with the DPI checker.

Questions

What is eDPI?

eDPI, or effective DPI, is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. A mouse at 800 DPI and a sensitivity of 0.4 has an eDPI of 320.

Can I compare my eDPI with a player in another game?

Not directly. Each game turns the view by a different angle per count, so the same eDPI is a different turn speed in different games. Compare cm/360 instead, or convert first and compare the converted eDPI.

What is a good eDPI?

There is no single right value. It depends on the game, your mouse pad and your arm and wrist style. Use the cm/360 shown beside your eDPI to compare yourself with players who list theirs.

Does the calculator store my numbers?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
