A starting point you can use today

Set Counter-Strike 2 to a sensitivity of 1.05 at 800 DPI (the setting is in the keyboard and mouse settings, called Mouse Sensitivity). The same aim is 0.33 in Valorant, 3.5 in Overwatch 2, 1.05 in Apex, 4.158 in Fortnite at 800 DPI.

Play with it for a few days. If it feels too fast, move toward a higher cm/360 in small steps, and the other way if it feels slow. The sensitivity finder does this in seven guided rounds.

Questions

What is the best CS2 sensitivity?

There is no single best value, because your mouse pad, grip and role change what works. The pro median is a sensible starting point: 840 eDPI, which is a sensitivity of 1.05 at 800 DPI. Test it, then change it in small steps.

What eDPI do CS2 pros use?

The median among 211 pros is 840 eDPI, and most are between 760 and 1000 (SensLab, October 2026).

What cm/360 is good in CS2?

The pro median is about 49.5 cm per 360. A lower number is faster. Use the cm/360 beside your sensitivity to compare yourself with others, and keep the number you can aim with consistently.

What DPI should I use in CS2?

Most pros use 800 or 1600 DPI, and the in-game sensitivity sets the speed. The table on this page shows the same eDPI at 400, 800 and 1600 DPI. Pick a DPI and tune the sensitivity, or use the DPI converter to keep your aim when you change it.

How do I find my own CS2 sensitivity?

Use the sensitivity finder: it takes you through seven rounds of lower or higher and ends on a number you chose. Then keep it for a week before you judge it.
