Apex Legends eDPI calculator
Your Apex sensitivity times your DPI in one number, with the turn distance behind it.
Apex eDPI and cm/360
In Apex Legends one mouse count turns the view 0.022 degrees at sensitivity 1. The sensitivity is set in the mouse and keyboard settings, called Mouse Sensitivity.
The table shows the sensitivity and the 360° distance behind some round eDPI values at 800 DPI. Use it to see how far your mouse really moves at your setting.
| eDPI | Apex sensitivity at 800 DPI | cm per 360° |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | 0.125 | 415.6 cm |
| 200 | 0.25 | 207.8 cm |
| 300 | 0.375 | 138.5 cm |
| 400 | 0.5 | 103.9 cm |
| 600 | 0.75 | 69.3 cm |
| 800 | 1 | 52 cm |
| 1000 | 1.25 | 41.6 cm |
| 1600 | 2 | 26 cm |
What is a good Apex eDPI?
Among 113 professional Apex Legends players in SensLab's verified dataset (updated October 2026), the median eDPI is 1040 and most sit between 960 and 1200. That is a median of about 40 cm of mouse travel for a full turn.
Treat it as a reference, not a target. Your mouse pad, grip and role matter more than matching a pro, so change your sensitivity in small steps and give each change a few days. Source: SensLab pro settings statistics.
The same Apex eDPI at a different mouse DPI
If you change your mouse DPI, change your in-game sensitivity the other way to keep the same aim. A higher DPI needs a lower sensitivity, and a lower DPI needs a higher one.
| eDPI | At 400 DPI | At 800 DPI | At 1600 DPI |
|---|---|---|---|
| 800 | 2 | 1 | 0.5 |
| 1200 | 3 | 1.5 | 0.75 |
| 1600 | 4 | 2 | 1 |
| 2000 | 5 | 2.5 | 1.25 |
| 2400 | 6 | 3 | 1.5 |

Your Apex eDPI in other games
An eDPI of 1200 in Apex (sensitivity 1.5 at 800 DPI) turns the view as far as an eDPI of 1200 in CS2, an eDPI of 377.1 in Valorant, an eDPI of 4000 in Overwatch 2, an eDPI of 4752.5 in Fortnite, all at 800 DPI. That is why eDPI numbers from different games cannot be compared directly: the same aim has a different eDPI in each game.

Questions
How do I calculate my Apex eDPI?
Multiply your Apex in-game sensitivity by your mouse DPI. For example, a sensitivity of 1.5 at 800 DPI is an eDPI of 1200.
Is my Apex eDPI the same as my eDPI in another game?
Only if the two games share a yaw. Apex uses 0.022 degrees per count, so it matches Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends and the other Source games, but not Valorant, which uses 0.07.
What cm/360 does an eDPI of 800 give in Apex?
An eDPI of 800 (sensitivity 1 at 800 DPI) is 52 cm of mouse travel for a full 360 degree turn in Apex.
What is a good Apex eDPI?
Among the 113 pro players in SensLab's October 2026 dataset, most use an eDPI between 960 and 1200, with a median of 1040 (40 cm per 360). A good value is the one you can aim with consistently, so change it in small steps.
Do I need to change my Apex sensitivity if I change my mouse DPI?
Yes, if you want the same aim. Double the DPI and halve the in-game sensitivity, and your eDPI and your cm/360 stay the same. The table on this page shows the numbers.
