How to find your sensitivity in Fortnite

  1. Set your DPIKeep the DPI you play with. The finder works in turn distance, so the result is right for that DPI.
  2. Type the sensitivity it showsIn the input settings, where the X-axis sensitivity is shown as a percentage, set X-Axis Sensitivity (%) to the number from round 1.
  3. Test it for a minuteUse the practice range or an aim trainer. Track a moving target, then flick to a still one.
  4. Answer lower or higherLower if you want the view to turn slower, higher if you want it faster.
  5. Repeat for seven roundsThe last number is your Fortnite sensitivity. Keep it for a week before you change it.

Where the search starts in Fortnite

The default range is 17 to 50 cm per 360°, built around the pro median of about 31 cm per 360. Professional Fortnite players turn about 31 cm per 360° (SensLab, October 2026), so the middle of the search sits close to the pro median.

In Fortnite one count turns the view 0.0056 degrees at sensitivity 1. The table shows the number you would type for the three ends of the search at common DPIs.

Questions

What is the best Fortnite sensitivity finder?

This one follows the PSA method: you test a sensitivity, answer lower or higher, and the range halves each time. After seven rounds you are within about 0.8% of a value that suits your aim in Fortnite. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.

Where do I change the sensitivity in Fortnite?

In the input settings, where the X-axis sensitivity is shown as a percentage, look for X-Axis Sensitivity (%). Type the number the finder shows, play for a minute in the practice range, and come back to answer.

What range should I search in Fortnite?

The finder starts at 17 to 50 cm per 360°, built around the pro median of about 31 cm per 360. At 800 DPI that is a X-Axis Sensitivity (%) of 4.115 (slowest) to 12.1 (fastest). Change the two boxes if you already know you want it faster or slower.

What is the first sensitivity I will be asked to try?

The middle of the range, 29 cm per 360°. At 800 DPI that is 7.058 in Fortnite, at 400 DPI 14.12, and at 1600 DPI 3.529.

Does it find my ADS or scope sensitivity too?

No. The finder works on your normal (hipfire) sensitivity. When you have it, use the ADS sensitivity converter to match your scopes to it.

How does my result compare with Fortnite pros?

Look at the cm/360° the finder shows at the end. Pros in Fortnite turn about 31 cm per 360°. Many players land within 20% of that, and plenty are well outside it. Keep the number you can aim with consistently.

Is there anything special about Fortnite sensitivity?

The value is the percentage you type, so 6.5 means 6.5 percent. Scoped and building sensitivities are separate settings that this converter does not change.
