About the two games
Destiny 2
It uses the same 0.0066 yaw as Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty, so a number from one of those games carries over unchanged. Engine: Tiger Engine. Yaw 0.0066.
Counter-Strike 2
It uses the standard Source yaw of 0.022. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive used the same value, so a CS:GO sensitivity carries over unchanged. Engine: Source 2. Yaw 0.022.
What players use in Destiny 2 and Counter-Strike 2
A sensitivity only means something next to the distance it gives you. These are the settings of players who compete in Counter-Strike 2, shown at 800 DPI. Pro numbers come from SensLab's October 2026 dataset of verified player settings; the last column converts each one so the view turns the same distance.
| CS2 players | cm per 360° | CS2 sens at 800 DPI | Same turn in Destiny 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fast end | 41.6 cm | 1.25 | 4.167 |
| Median | 49.5 cm | 1.05 | 3.5 |
| Slow end | 54.7 cm | 0.95 | 3.167 |
Questions
How do I convert Destiny 2 sensitivity to CS2?
Multiply your Destiny 2 sensitivity by 0.3. The result keeps the distance for a full turn the same, so your aim feels the same in CS2.
What is 5 Destiny 2 sensitivity in CS2?
5 in Destiny 2 is 1.5 in CS2. At 800 DPI that is 34.6 cm of mouse travel for a full 360 degree turn in both games.
Is Destiny 2 sensitivity the same as CS2?
No. Destiny 2 turns the view 3.33 times less far as CS2 at the same number, which is why the numbers differ.
Does DPI change the Destiny 2 to CS2 conversion?
No. As long as the mouse DPI is the same in both games, the conversion does not depend on it. DPI only matters for your cm/360 and eDPI.
Is CS:GO sensitivity the same as CS2?
Yes. Counter-Strike 2 kept the 0.022 yaw that CS:GO used, so a CS:GO sensitivity carries over to CS2 unchanged. Use the same mouse DPI and keep raw input on.
