How to convert it

  1. Find your sensitivity in Counter-Strike 2. It is in the keyboard and mouse settings, under Mouse Sensitivity.
  2. Multiply it by 0.176 (0.022 ÷ 0.125), or type it into the converter above, and enter the result in Escape from Tarkov.
  3. Use the same mouse DPI in both games, with raw input on and mouse acceleration off.

About the two games

Counter-Strike 2

It uses the standard Source yaw of 0.022. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive used the same value, so a CS:GO sensitivity carries over unchanged. Engine: Source 2. Yaw 0.022.

Escape from Tarkov

The 0.125 yaw is community-measured: a reading of 13.1948 cm for a full turn at sensitivity 0.7 and 800 DPI, with a 1 percent turning-speed penalty, works out to exactly 0.125. It assumes no turning-speed penalty from armor. If armor slows your turning by a percent, multiply your sensitivity by one minus that percent before converting. The field of view does not change the turn speed. Engine: Unity. Yaw 0.125.

What players use in Counter-Strike 2 and Escape from Tarkov

A sensitivity only means something next to the distance it gives you. These are the settings of players who compete in Counter-Strike 2, shown at 800 DPI. Pro numbers come from SensLab's October 2026 dataset of verified player settings; the last column converts each one so the view turns the same distance.

Questions

How do I convert CS2 sensitivity to Tarkov?

Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by 0.176. The result keeps the distance for a full turn the same, so your aim feels the same in Tarkov.

What is 1.5 CS2 sensitivity in Tarkov?

1.5 in CS2 is 0.264 in Tarkov. At 800 DPI that is 34.6 cm of mouse travel for a full 360 degree turn in both games.

Is CS2 sensitivity the same as Tarkov?

No. CS2 turns the view 5.68 times less far as Tarkov at the same number, which is why the numbers differ.

Does DPI change the CS2 to Tarkov conversion?

No. As long as the mouse DPI is the same in both games, the conversion does not depend on it. DPI only matters for your cm/360 and eDPI.

Is CS:GO sensitivity the same as CS2?

Yes. Counter-Strike 2 kept the 0.022 yaw that CS:GO used, so a CS:GO sensitivity carries over to CS2 unchanged. Use the same mouse DPI and keep raw input on.
